The Cobb County School District demonstrates an aggressive approach to maximizing scholastic achievement. We focus on improvement across the system by identifying specific areas for enhancement and implementing the necessary changes. The Cobb Chamber of Commerce, an active supporter of the Cobb County School District, provides over 1000 Business Partners in Education for our schools. Five magnet schools provide specialized training and instruction in math/science, research/medical science, science, math/technology, and the performing arts. An International Baccalaureate Program which encourages students to become “active leaders, well-rounded individuals, and engaged world-citizens” is also available for qualified students. Every effort is made to provide a quality education for our students and to ensure that there is "no child left behind."
